Dr. Rachel Lee is a New Zealand trained, certified Urgent Care Physician with a broad range of skills and experience.
Dr. Lee has worked across various medical and surgical disciplines in primary and tertiary medical centres throughout New Zealand for the past 14 years. She enjoys Emergency and Urgent Care medicine - this inspired her to develop the urgent care service at Ponsonby Doctors, which provides same-day medical & accident care for the local community and beyond, in addition to her work at the Auckland Hospital Emergency Department.
Dr. Lee’s other areas of special interest is in Skin Cancer Surgery & Cosmetic Medicine. She has undertaken dedicated surgical training in Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery in major hospitals around the country. Hence, she has particular expertise in managing skin cancers, soft tissue injuries, wounds, burns and scars.
Dr. Lee is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia, and is competent in performing full body skin checks, dermoscopy, minor skin surgery & biopsies for skin cancers, cosmetic removal of moles, cysts, skin tags and other lesions. In addition, she consults on dermatological conditions, such as rashes, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, bacterial and fungal infections, keloid scars etc.
Dr. Lee also offers a wide range of cosmetic medicine services. She is always keen on researching and incorporating novel, cutting edge technologies and products that deliver long term results into her treatment plans, which is personalised and tailored to her patients’ individual needs.
She also regularly attends conferences, seminars and workshops to ensure that she keeps abreast with the latest updates and developments in her areas of interest.
Dr Rachel Lee is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.
